| Welcome to the clan war tips and tricks headquarters courtesy of your clan war official me and my wonderful Co-Official Etherium! Plz check these tricks and tips out! Will update with other maps soon enough! - Tower Tips by Etherium:
Tower
The SWAT team spawns in the bottom right section of the image on the map, and the Militia team spawns in the building in the top left-center. Tower, being a mid-sized map with varying degrees of openness, features a wide range of strategies. Players can go to higher grounds and take out their opponents from above, or they can storm the enemy base from down below. Tower's long stretches make for great ambushes - audio is only audible from a close distance. There's an Ammunition Crate in a small house on the left side of the map. There's also another smaller house below that, in the bottom left corner of the map which can be used to cover the stretch from Militia's base to the bottom side of the map. Combined with cover from the roof, this can effectively cut off enemy ammunition supply. Nicknames:
- Tower - The tower at SWAT spawn.
- Mili - Militia base (occasionally referred to as warehouse).
- Catwalk (or cat) - The elevated path that connects the SWAT base to the Militia base.
- Roof - The roof that can be accessed from either the catwalk or tower.
- Clockhouse (or clock) - The little building in the corner of the map with the clock on the front.
- Fence - The wall by SWAT base that has crates stacked at one of the far ends.
- Containers (or crates)- Anywhere in the middle of the map.
- Tyres - The stack of tyres just outside the Militia base.
- Window - The wall with a broken section in Militia base.
Hiding/Camping spots
- In the Militia base next to the broken window facing the SWAT catwalk to the tower is a little hole, if a player goes into this hole they will be able to surprise the SWAT players from the side when they come through or may keep them hidden if they are the last man standing. Should they get caught, though, there is barely any escape as it is hard to jump out. Players in the hole can be killed from the broken window.
- There is also another more secret hiding spot that will keep a player hidden (for the moment until they shoot) next to the stairs in the Militia base that has a little spot emptied out next to some crates that a player can hide by.
- Another spot in the Militia base is literally under the stairs - there is an opening that a player can squeeze their way into.
- Next to the tower is what looks like a power generator. If a SWAT player climbs up the tower and jump onto the power generator down below and crouches, unsuspecting Militia players will pass by the SWAT base and won't even know the SWAT player is there. Like the hole in the Militia base, it covers all sides, but not attacks from above.
- Behind the ammo house is another favorite spot of Militia players. SWAT players who rush the Militia base from the ground should look behind the ammo house, lest they wish to get gunned down in the back. It is also a good spot to snipe SWAT players camping in the clockhouse.
- Another spot favored by Militia players is behind the tires by the Militia base. From there, they can shoot players on the opposite team who are on the roof and on the tower.
- It is often a camper on the roof, usually with one of the M4A1. On the crates and the planks next to roof it may also be a camper.
The tower is a common camping-spot for players in SWAT, but they are in a risky place since they can get killed from the fence, from below and from the roof and catwalk.
- Another camping-spot that is common for SWAT is the fence. The player sprint to the fence and try to kill Militias on the catwalk.
From the broken window in Militia base, Militia have good control over the containers and ammo house. If they stand on the shelf they can also guard the other entry.
- The clockhouse is a medium-good camping spot, as there are clear lines of fire, and it is possible to shoot out of the windows. Be wary of players who throw grenades in to the clockhouse, although it is possible to survive the blast.
Tactics
Weapons All weapons can be very useful in Tower but only if you use them in the right way. The different weapons need different tactics and the route you choose change together with the weapon. All weapons can be used in several ways.
M1014 (Shotgun)
M1014 (Shotgun) can be a strong weapon when the player is going on the catwalk because of the close range fights that happens there. It is not good to use when going at the fence. M1014 is powerful in the warehouse at Militia base.
M110
Run fast with the M110 to the fence and try to kill the people that run on the catwalk if you are playing in SWAT. If you are playing in Militia, start look for and kill players on the tower and the roof. The tires, the tower and the roof can be good places for a sniper to be at.
M249 (SAW)
The M249 SAW is useful as a SWAT member defending the Ammo House from the Clockhouse. It is also helpful if the player does not remember to reload frequently or prefers the increased number of bullets being carried. As it is not very accurate or powerful (compared to the M4A1 or the shotgun), players should avoid going on the tower, the roof, or trying to clear the clockhouse or ammo house.
M4A1
The M4A1 has a low recoil and a high accuracy and is therefore a good weapon when you are at the fence and trying to kill the enemy at the catwalk. Killing the snipers on the roof or the tower is not that hard with M4A1.
M67 (Grenade)
M67 (Grenade) can be thrown over the roof between Militia base and SWAT base to see if there is someone who comes on the catwalk. There is often people at the fence, a good M67 (grenade) can damage and kill several people in the enemy team.
MP5
The MP5 is a general purpose SMG, so it doesn't have specific tactics. Since each of the weapons has its own strength, the MP5 user should support the players with the other weaponry. There where the other players are stronger, the MP5 user goes behind them and there where the other players are weaker, the MP5 user goes in front of them. Can be useful for room clearence, especially if there aren't enough players carrying a shotgun.

- Be extremely careful and alert when rushing into the Militia spawn from the catwalk. The Militia spawn building is a camper's heaven, with tons of nooks and crannies. When first entering from the window, the most immediate threats would be players camping under the connector between cat and mili base, on the left in the hole, on the right on either the staircase or boxes next to the staircase (or sometimes even the window ledge), and the overturned shelf on the opposite side of the base. After moving down to the ground floor, there is still the danger of campers under the staircase, in the corner of two containers right under the grated bridge, the far end of the rectangular cage, the corner close to the second staircase and window (also under the grated bridge),and players popping out from the entrance on the opposite side of the base. Also, since you are exposed to fire from the fence, it is often imperative to sprint into the base, increasing the risk. Dropping down into the staircase for cover is usually the best option.
- Entering the base from the other side is also a perilous task, although more manageable. When first approaching from the outside, the first dangers will be players in the broken window/shelf, players on the second story bridge, and players camping behind the little nook with the crates on both the ground floor and the container. Then come players camping behind the ammo house, players by the tires, and players coming out of the base or already out in the open. You can use the entrance walls for cover when dealing with enemies in the base.
- A skilled player can, from the fence, mow down Militia players running out the window and onto the catwalk.
Use the containers as cover to get closer to Militia and kill anyone that gets in the way.
- Alternatively, eliminate players in the window or popping out from the containers and use the ammo house to get a bit closer.
The tower is great for picking off enemies from afar, but leaves the player quite exposed if one is not careful. The roof can be useful for picking off enemies in the Militia spawn.

- If you are going to go catwalk, do it quick. SWAT players will make it over to the fence fairly quickly, and you are fully exposed for the length before getting behind the building.
- You can circumvent the catwalk by taking the tiny ledge that goes around the building and surprising SWAT players on the other side. This will leave you even more open to fire from the fence though.
- If you make it to the roof first, you can take out the players on the tower and base as well as unsuspecting enemies on the catwalk.
Jumping out the window is always faster than going out the entrance. Learn to sprint jump over it if you want to quickly reach the far container and deal with enemies by the fence.
- Grenades will help your advance towards the fence if under heavy fire. While the enemy retreats, move up to the crates and take cover. They can also be thrown to the catwalk from inside the (militia) base, or thrown through the roof of the ammo house towards the fence.
- Watch out for enemies heading through the containers and on tower while trying to reach the far container (going through ammo can be used as cover).
- Crane TIPS!:
The CodeNames1. Tank- This is found right where you spawn at when you're in swat. It is up the stairs right in front of you. 2. Swat ammo- Obviously the ammo house that is to the right of swat spawn. (SA) 3. Militia ammo- The other ammo house in front of the swat spawn and to the right of militia spawn. (MA) 4. Fence- The fence is at militia ammo. This is a pretty good strategic point. 5. MA Cargo- It is the cargo tank with the two trees at militia ammo. 6. Roof- There are two roofs but this is used for the Militia spawn roof. I'll get to the swat roof next 7. Swat Roof- There is no other way to call it. This is the roof that you can climb on at SA 8. Crane- In front of Militia spawn. Its to the right of Swat spawn and is directly behind the SA 9. Tower- The huge tower right next to SA 10. Militia cargo- The boxes and coverage in front of militia spawn 11. Tri-Tank- You can see this to the right of Militia spawn. Its to the left of the fence. 12. Swat cargo- its found right in front of fence. REFER TO THE MAPSWAT TacticsThere are three main approaches you can take when you play as SWAT. There are two rush options and one suppress and cover option. I'll start with the rush options. When in a clan war as SWAT use these codenames. RUSH MA- This option consists of running along the trench towards number 5 from your spawn. If you can try to pick off the militia people headed towards 3, 4, or 11. After you reach cargo check the back of Militia ammo. Then check to see if anyone is camped at fence. After that if someone is camping at 10 or militia cargo pick them off too. Then make your way towards militia spawn. RUSH CRANE- This rush option consists of you running towards SA or crane. You can choose either to pick people sniping at militia spawn from the SA windows. You can climb on the stairs and pick off the people on Militia roof. You can also camp at crane to pick off people at militia cargo or at fence and MA. I usually go this option because you can cover more ground this way. After you clear the area make your way towards roof and militia spawn. Word of caution be aware of people camping at the trenches and the ammo house as well as the tri-tanks. Cover Fire (CF)- This could be the snipers job. You're going to get on top of the tank and pick off people running towards fence and Militia ammo. This in my opinion is harder because its hard to actually get the rushing Militia unless you're very skilled and you could be shot at from Swat Ammo if militia gets in or from crane. MILITIA TacticsThere are three ways to play militia. The same thing for Swat. Two rush options and one cover fire. Rush MA- This is where you rush Militia ammo. I suggest to not camp fence or go inside Militia ammo but run towards number 5 or militia cargo. There you can shoot incoming swat rushing from the trenches as well as tank campers. You can also take on the swat cargo campers as well. This will only work if you rush there while in melee mode since you have the fastest movement speed while holding knife. If you do camp fence you can take out Swat roof as well as swat cargo. The same goes for if you're window camping in Militia Ammo. Rush Crane- This is where you head for militia cargo. You can play it safe and camp there while picking off anyone you see. You can also be a risk taker and climb tower and then jump onto swat roof taking out swat members coming up the stairs or rushing Militia ammo or even camped at tank. You can also run to the back of the crane and take out people from there. Another option is rushing into swat ammo and ambushing from the side. Cover Fire (CF)- This is an easy route to take for militia. You just climb on Militia roof and lay down cover fire. Also you could do this role at tri-tank or the log at militia cargo.
- Timbertown:
TIMBERTOWN Map Objects:
- (1) There are two Ammunition Crates, one in the cabin at the SWAT base and one under the platform in the middle of the map.
- (2) The Bomb is located in the SWAT Base to the left of the Cabin.
- (3) There are two Staircases on the sides of the buildings allowing players to access the roofs.
- (4) There are two Staircases and one ladder in the middle of the map to allow access to the scaffold.
- (5) There are three Trees and nine bushes in Timbertown.
Hiding/Camping spots
- It is often players hiding in the windows, especially the windows facing Militia or SWAT spawn.
The small bushes is a common hiding place, it is hard to see players standing in the middle of them, however it is also hard to see out for the camper.
- Behind the stone in the corner in SWAT base can be used as a hiding spot.
- On the other side of the ladder inside the cabin between the walls and some boxes
It is possible for players to stand on all 3 trees in Timbertown by jumping from the top level of the buildings directly into the center of the tree.
- The most used camping spot (especially in Sabotage) is on the roof of the cabin or at the hole in the roof, a good M67 (Grenade) can hit multiple enemies.
- The big hill at the Militia base is often used by campers, usually campers with M110. The log stack to the left of the hill is also effectively held with the M110 by crouching when reloading and hiding, and standing when firing. This position, when combined with the hill spot, can usually stop SWAT snipers from firing.
- The tops of the two staircases. Players usually crouch in these areas to fortify the rooftops. Players must be careful to watch below themselves, as they are partially exposed through the gaps in the steps.
- This position is most successfully held with any of the guns with a suppressor so that enemy players do not see roof activity from below.
Nicknames
- Cabin - The broken house at the SWAT base.
- Platform - The big platform in the middle of the map.
- Bomb - The bomb in the SWAT area.
- SWAT Roof - The walkable roof (1 of 2) that is closer to the SWAT base.
- Militia Roof - The walkable roof (1 of 2) that is closer to the Militia base.
- Hills - The hills and log stacks at the Militia base.
- Garage - Small building close to SWAT roof.
Tatics SWAT
- The SWAT's cabin is a pretty good camping spot because snipers can hide out on the roof and pick of anybody that tries to enter. If you're armed with an MP5 or either model of the M4 then you can sprint up the ladder and take a few shots at the Militia's base, as most of the time the enemy is running atop the hill. With a bit of accuracy you can take out a couple of players before they can even enter the game. The Milita can also be easily flanked by using the alley on the far right.
- Watch out for the rooftops and the main platform. As a SWAT player you don't have very easy access to the higher levels unless you sprint to the stairs on the far left.
Militia
- Like the SWAT, the Militia's ideal sniping place is located in the heart of their base: the dirt pile. Experienced players can make it where only their heads and rifles are visible to the enemy, meaning they can easily pick off the SWAT players camped out on the roof.
- If you're in a 'Bomb' mission, use a couple of grenades to clear out the SWAT house, as that's where all of the enemies will be camped. Use the roofs to provide some suppressive fire and send in two or three men to activate the bomb.
- Use the roofs wisely, because the Militia has the most access to them. If you can manage to get to the SWAT's buildings you can often clear the SWAT house before they know what hit them.
- Clear out the SWAT house campers by shooting as shown in the picture. Make sure there are no enemies along the brick wall before getting into position.
Sabotage
- There is only one bomb in Timbertown so it is more focused to just one place instead of two in Crane and Pipeline.
Look for enemies in the cabin, behind stones and crates and on the SWAT roof before you activate or deactivate the bomb. It is most effective to send one or two players to the bomb while covering them from the rooftops.
- WareHouse by Atup!:
WAREHOUSE Nicknames
- [1]- Sniping Deck/Sniping Platform - Also known as Snipe deck/plat, or sometimes even just "snipe". These are the two balconies on both ends of the map. As their many nicknames imply, they are perfect for sniping; however, if a player jumps off of one of the balconies and lands on the floor, they will take between 1-5 damage.
- [2]- Bridge - The long bridge that connects the two spawn points. It is the location of the map's only ammunition crate. It has a very good view of the box-maze, but is also very exposed
- [3]- Ammo/Ammo Crate - The Ammunition Crate in the middle of the Bridge.
- [4]- Box-Maze/Boxes - This refers to the boxes in the middle of the arena, which are arranged into a maze. This is where most of the action and fights occur. Left and right is used for a more accurate position.
- [5]- Windows - The windows lining the side's of the walls of the warehouse. Only accesible through the Warehouse Window Leap glitch.
General Tactics
- When there is only one player left on the other team, but you can't see them, check the hiding spots first. Always approach them from above (i.e. standing on top of the boxes) as they are unlikely to notice you.
- If you are the last man standing, keep moving, and generally speaking, stay in the boxes. Whenever you make a kill, move away from that spot as soon as possible. If you can't get a perfect/clean shot, either take it anyway, or move somewhere else. (Exception to this can be made if you know where everyone else on the other team is i.e. you can see all of them)
- It is possible to shoot inbetween the gaps in the floor of the bridge. This allows sneaky kills from above, especially when the player thinks they are hiding. However, it allows even sneaker kills from below, as at the right angle, a player can shoot through the gap and hit players on the sniping platform/balcony. Especially useful for duels.
- Don't be afraid to swap to your knife/melee, as everything is so close together.
- You can get on top of the Warehouse Bridge Box, which can be useful for finding the last players on the map near the end of each round. It is also probably the most exposed point on the map, find the player, then jump down to engage them.
- Grenades can be thrown through the gaps in the floor of the balcony, allowing for some unexpected damage/kills.
- Of the 4 ladders to each balcony, one of them leads up behind a box. This gives you cover when assulting the balcony, as it allows you
to come over the top unseen.
- Alternatively, the floor of the balcony can be used as cover. By not climbing up all the way, it is possible to be 'hidden' under the floor of the balcony, yet still shoot onto it.
- When engaged in a duel on the balcony, a player can jump on the 'outside' of the boxes, standing on the railing, and potentially flank the enemy player.
Weapons-Close range weapons is normally the best in Warehouse, but long range weapons can also be good if they are played right. Primary Weapons-Warehouse is a medium sized map with several close combat areas inside the maze. Weapons like the M1014 and the M249 SAW that deal high damage in few shots are very effective inside the maze. Secondary Weapons-Each Secondary weapon has its advantage in Warehouse: the M9A1 for its damage and the MP7 for its automatic fire rate. Tactical Weapons-The M67 is very effective in the maze when thrown from the bridge.
This is it for my tips and tricks. IF you don't get anything we will be practicing. I'll show you guys the ins and outs for crane so we can be prepared for clan wars! Good luck and happy hunting.
