"Game Night"

So what, this is the tenth (twentieth?) time something like this has been brought up? Not here, specifically, but just in general.

Anyway, unlike past renditions of this idea, it'd be more than "lets all play BeGone for the umpteenth time", and it also wouldn't be "lets get EVERYONE on the same game". I don' think it matters if literally every single person plays the same game as long as people are playing together, and with that I suggest that we set up a game night or two on the weekend, and get some groups together for some games.

I mean obviously people are free to propose their own games, and attendance isn't compulsory, but it's always fun to play games with at least one person you know.

So with that being said, lets try to get some groups together. Just throw out the names of some multiplayer games and we'll see if people have those same games and want to play them. Even if it's just two people, that's part of the group being involved, which again I think is more important than having everyone in one place.

Feel free to make your own format, I'm just going to make this up.

Time Available: 4PM-2AM EST Friday, all day Saturday
Games: Payday 2, Team Fortress 2, Red Orchestra 2, EvE Online, [free MMOs that aren't MOBAs]
Preferred group size: 2-4 (Payday 2), Unlimited (the rest)

I would be down for this. Even if its like 'Everyone just get on RC at the same time and play whatever game you want'.

Sounds good to me also. I just can't always be on on a Saturday, that is when we have most of our family get togethers.

This goes for both of you, but start listing some games so we at least have an idea of what to play, and try to post when you think you'll be free so something can get more founded instead of last-minute messaging.

I would be most down for Payday 2 or TF2. Red Orchestra 2 i have but im a colorblind fuck, so it makes that game hard as shit. Team killing happens often. But we can try.

Well, we could start on free games thought some ppl are lazy or don't have money to buy some games imo.
Like free games on steam or browser games, anything that doesn't lagg is good.

Well, like I said, if everyone brings up ideas on what to play and more than one person feels like playing that game, it's set. Not everyone has to play the same game.

For example, Ryu and I own Payday 2. Chances are most people aren't just gonna buy Payday 2 to play with us. That's fine, there's plenty of other games to play.

At least I think there are. I wouldn't know until someone brings some up.   

Minecraft, Garry's Mod, Rush Team. I'll see if there's anything else that hasn't yet been listed.
