Need help with a decision

In July, I have the opportunity to either buy an Xbox One or a PlayStation 4. So what should I choose? I like both very much, the majority usually tells me to go with PS4 because it's more powerful and such, but the xbox one features is so much cooler, and I usually play shooters on multiplayer and I was told the xbox is I deal for that, but I've been a PlayStation guy all my life. What do you guys think I should get?

Ps4. Microsfot just came out in saying they screwed up with the kinect on the X1 and that not using it actually give a decent bit more power for games to use. So in the future your going to see games that make you unplug the gimmick camera anyways.

Gpu:amd radeon hd 7570
ram:12gb ram
hdd:1tb 7200rpm
mobo: some asus brand
psu:stock
cooling: stock fan
planning to upgrade the psu and cooling because might be getting a new gpu
but i'm still a console guy :/

To be honest I find the X-Box One to be more of a family console now, it's still going to have epic games but it's more like a media center now more than anything:P

I personally would go for the PS4 and not because I love Sony more than Microsoft but because I think that the PS4 is better than the X-Box One. It's all up to you in the end:)

agreed get the Wii u it be better then those PS 4s and them Xbox Ones. Maybe you could think about going to handheld (if you do get 3Ds)

PS4... I have Xbox 1. Good but not as quality as PS4.

As I heard, PS4 have 1024p HD, and Xbox 1 have 720p. Do you want all the games to look real? Use PS4, instead.

I don't care about graphics, i'm just wondering which will give me a better overall experience

Made the decision to get an xbox one because all my irl friends that share common gaming interests with me are getting an xbox one
